ABOUT
It was 1980. I had just opened my law practice. As I waited for my first client to arrive, I wondered how the interview would go. Although I have represented thousands of people over my career, I still remember my first client. He was involved in a family court proceeding and needed counsel. As he described the facts of the case, I understood the legal issues involved. I had a pretty good idea of the pertinent law. As he left my office, however, it occurred to me that I had no idea what to do. How does this exactly work? Luckily, I was able to obtain assistance from more experienced attorneys. The case, however, made it abundantly clear to me that I knew almost nothing about the actual practice of law.
At this stage of my career I am fortunate to be able to share my experience with those of you who are about to enter the profession. My passion is to share my experience with you so as to enhance your skill set and propel you into a successful and rewarding career in the law.
